The Pre-Workout Tonic

The kind of workout you plan on doing might vary from day to day, but my natural workout drink base stays the same! It’s important to stay hydrated and energized throughout my workout, and whether I’m working out fasted or doing heavy strength training, I’ve concocted a tonic that has successfully sustained me without the tummy ache or unnecessary ingredients. I’ll break down the why with the recipe below.

Aloe juice (the no added sugar kind) can be found at Trader Joe’s in gallon jugs. This is extremely hydrating, boosts the immune system, promotes digestion, muscle, joint and tissue support, and oral health. It can be an acquired taste at first, but I’ve grown to love it.

Chlorophyll is often called the “building block of life” and is responsible for the green plants, algae and some vegetables, and rich in antioxidants.

ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops is an all natural concentrated complex of full spectrum, naturally occurring ionic trace minerals.

Beet Root powder is an amazing source of natural antioxidant that boosts energy and pump.

Chia Seeds the superfood powerhouse that will provide endurance and hydration to start.


1-2 c Aloe juice / can substitute for coconut water

1 tbsp Chlorophyll

10 drops of ConcenTrace Minerals

1 tbsp Beet Root Powder

1 tsp Chia seeds

Stevia drops to taste

Shake it up in your shaker bottle
